I decided that I was in need of some vacations, even if short. Talked with my best friend Gustavo, if he could get me a couch to sleep at Almeria.
I hitch a ride there with my friend Tiago in is car. They were some happy days. On the way back we stopped by Cordoba for some sightseeing.

Unfortunately my trip to Sweeden was canceled due to some problems!
Well, since life doesn’t stop, my good friend Telmo invited me to the ‘Valhelhas Summercamp OffRoad’, near Manteigas, at ‘Serra da Estrela’. We hit the road with his Suzuki Samurai and arrived at the camping site at nightfall, where we met some new friends.
It was 3 great days, with a lot of dust, jeeps and fun!
If you like sweet countryside peace, with a little river in the middle of the mountains, Valhelhas its the place where you want to go! In the summer, the small village has a little levee holding the water so people can enjoy the sun near the river’s fresh water.
